    Deposit tokens represent claims on specific bank deposits and fall under existing banking regulation. Stablecoins on Lupsee are reserve-backed and designed for institutional settlement. Both operate on the same shared ledger with identical settlement guarantees.

    Atomic settlement means both legs of a transaction complete simultaneously or neither does. In PvP (payment vs payment), two currencies exchange at once. In DvP (delivery vs payment), an asset and payment exchange at once. This eliminates settlement risk.
